Live Virtual Class Schedule
Coming soon!
It’s a common misconception that you need a fancy studio or a 90-minute block of time to see results. In reality, the "magic" of yoga happens when you show up consistently in your own space.
Why Start a Home Practice?
Zero Commute, Zero Ego: You save time, and there is no pressure to "keep up" with the person on the mat next to you.
Lower Cortisol: Creating a "zen zone" at home trains your brain to relax the moment you step into that specific corner of your house.
Sustainable Habit: You’re more likely to stick to a 20-minute flow in your pajamas than a 60-minute class that requires a cross-town drive.
About Brittney Davis
Hello and welcome! Allow me to introduce myself. My name is Brittney Davis, and I am a 200-hour certified yoga teacher with a specialization in Restorative Yoga, Yin Yoga, and Chair Yoga. I am currently working through my 500-hour Advanced Teacher Training certification and plan to earn my CIAYT (yoga therapy) in the near future!
I am currently based out of Columbus, Ohio, but I have the hopes and dreams of moving to a beach town in the future. I am an elder emo millennial at heart <3 and some of my favorite bands are Sleeping with Sirens, A Day to Remember, and Bring Me the Horizon. I have been practicing yoga for around 5 years. At first, I was hesitant to begin my yoga journey simply because I felt out of place. I had no idea what I was doing, and it seemed like everyone else in class had been practicing for several years; I was extremely intimidated.
As someone who has dealt with gut issues and chronic anxiety my entire life, I was beginning to feel like there was no “fixing” me. I felt like I would be stuck in the grip that anxiety had over me. Once I became consistent with my yoga practice and focused more on my breath and feeling whole in my body, rather than trying to land the perfect pose, I found my body was beginning to soften and relax. I was able to train my brain through yoga and let it know that I was safe and that I could trust myself. Yoga was healing me from the inside out.
As a yoga teacher, I’m all about making yoga fun and accessible to those who feel like they don’t fit the stereotypical mold for a yoga practitioner. I focus heavily on modifications and the “why” behind the pose in my classes, so you fully understand why yoga is helpful for your specific needs. I want my (your) classes to feel like a sanctuary for both the restless spirit and the wandering soul.
Whether you’re a seasoned yogi or you’re just starting your journey, I am here to help serve you as yoga has served me. Life can be pretty busy and challenging at times. We all have things we need to heal and work through. My goal is to bridge the gap between the “love and light” of traditional yoga and the “darkness and depth” of the human experience.
